Great Weigh In!

Weighed myself this morning and I lost 5 pounds last week! Felt great stepping of the scale this morning. Afterwards I went to the gym and had a great work out. This week is starting out great, hope it ends that way!

What a Jerk!

So today this random Asian guy decides he wants to come up to me and ask me why I am so fat. Then he said probably because I ate to much pizza. It took everything I had not to get up and beat the shit out of him. I was just sitting there reading a book minding my own business, and this ass decides he wants to heckle me. After he began running his mouth I instantly said, " do you even speak English? " I thought if I could some how insult him he would leave me alone. He just stood there and laughed, it was pretty embarrassing. I wanted to smash his face in so bad, but the last thing I need is trouble from the police. In a way I want to thank that SOB, because tomorrow I will unleash a wave of fury in the gym. For those of you who watch biggest loser you know what a last chance workout is, well Sundays are my last chance workouts since I weigh in on Mondays.

Hello everyone!

First of all I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I am a 29 year old man who is fighting the war of weight loss. I started my journey weighing in at 480 pounds, I am currently down to 440 pounds. I still have a long way to go but I am definitely taking it one day at a time. I workout 5 times a week and visit a registered dietician about once a month. At the moment I am not working, I got laid off from my job as a Project Engineer in the Construction Industry back in May. You know I hate the fact that I lost my job, but I think it took that to jump start my weight loss journey. I have been on many interviews since being laid off and have had no luck, and I know that my weight plays a big part in people not wanting to hire me. Do they tell me that? Of course not, but that's just the reality of situation. But its ok,it just pushes me harder in the gym. Also I don't have much of a social life.I am sick and tired of being lonely, I have alot to offer but that gets covered up with my weight. In my free time I like to cook, read, watch movies.

With all that being said, the purpose of this blog is to share my journey and also give you an in depth look into the very personal thoughts of an overweight person.
