Dim the lights please!!

So today I had an appointment with my RD today. Everything went great, we made a few minor changes to my meal plan. I am definitely glad I made the decision last September to seek out the help of a dietician. She is extremely supportive and always takes the time to answer all my questions in a way that I can understand. Also accountability is a huge thing with me, knowing that I have to go see her ever couple of months helps keep me on track. Of course I wont be making these visits forever, but for me this is part of the learning process I need to help me continue my healthy lifestyle.

I also weighed in today!
*drum roll please*

I weighed: 397 lbs!

That's right people, I have knocked down the 400lb door! And I will never ever walk back through that door again!

This is a huge milestone for me and I thank everyone for their support!

Did you do anything to celebrate, I have yet to celebrate any of my milestones. Breaking into the 300's, 100 pounds lost, breaking into the 200's, 150 pounds lost. I should do something when I hit my goal weight which is about another 50 pounds away. I do remember being so happy and estactic when I got out of the 400's and even more so when I got out of the 300's. Just think you have that great milestone coming up.

I think my worst one was losing the 100 pounds, my baby boy was born like 8 days earlier and somehow I strained my back a few days earlier and I was having to stand and rock him to sleep and my back hurt so bad that I ended up on the floor afterwords in the fetal position almost in tears it hurt so bad. But I was at 98 pounds lost and I wanted that 100 so bad that I still hit my workout the next day extra hard and the day after that too.

Getting out of the dreaded 400's feels so great and its an amazing accomplishment and you got nowhere but to keep going down from here :)
