Glad to hear you're getting some relief for your lower back pain! I've dealt with back pain off and on for most of my adult life, so I know just how debilitating it can be. I also agree that your weight gain is probably due to the lack of water while your fasting for Ramadan. I can always tell when I'm not properly hydrated because I start puffing up from water retention. Keep up the awesome work, Alan!!
Glad you found someone who can help with the back pain and give you some relief. Always admire how you handle the fasting. That takes a lot of willpower. Keep up the great work! :)
So glad you are hanging in there & making progress on the injuries!! You do sound tired!! :) Over all my years I have seen the guys come in the gym at my workout hour due to Ramadan - after they eat something.. but even then sometimes they use more machines than free weights due to I am sure the lack of water & nutrients as their normal routine.... I got totally bound up without water so I put on weight - I know - TMI! ;)I admire you for this. Me, I will not even do Passover anymore & give up my bread & stuff - as an adult - I do what I want & does not mean I don't care! ;) I am a rebel! ;)
It sounds like you are doing a great job of keeping up exercise while being injured, feeling dehydrated and fasting. I have always been of the opinion, doing something is better than doing nothing, so if you feel really tired and you get on the bike and do a quick ride it is better than sitting on your butt watching TV. Plus if you over do it at the gym while being injured you can injure yourself more or extend the length of the injury. You really sound focused and determined this time, great work!
